Strategy: Spotlight a recent alumni guest artist for the School of Filmmaking; tie to big-name Marvel franchise.
Excerpt: The latest installment in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, “Thor: Ragnarok,” roared into more than 4,000 theaters last fall to command a $120 million opening weekend. One week later, the film screened in UNCSA’s ACE Main Theatre—a mandatory event for students in the School of Filmmaking.
