“What It Takes” is a short fundraising video that showcases the immense passion and dedication of student artists, and illustrates the hard work that is behind every success and failure. UNCSA worked collaboratively with Myriad Media over 8 months to bring the video to life.

The video connects with donors, who are called to support the University’s first major fundraising campaign in decades. The call to action leads them to the campaign website, where they can learn more about the campaign pillars and make a donation.
Success
“What It Takes” premiered at UNCSA’s Powering Creativity campaign kick off event in September 2019, and was shared widely via social media immediately after. It was a focal point of the campaign website throughout the duration of the campaign, which exceeded its goal in 2021. In 2020, “What It Takes” received a Gold Telly Award and in 2021, it was awarded Grand Gold in the CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education” Circle of Excellence Awards.
